Join the “Agricultural Technologies and Artificial Intelligence” Research Working Group
EurAgEng wanted to share the below invitation with all members:
Dear Colleagues,
We intend to establish an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented working group at our university focusing on Agricultural Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Applications in Agriculture.
As is well recognized, agricultural systems worldwide are undergoing a profound digital transformation. Smart farming technologies, artificial intelligence-based decision support systems, precision agriculture tools, climate-smart production models, and data-driven efficiency analyses are becoming central to ensuring food security, sustainability, and resilience against climate change. Within the European Union and globally, research and innovation efforts in digital agriculture are accelerating under major frameworks such as Horizon Europe and related funding schemes.
Within this framework, the main objectives of the proposed working group are:
· To integrate into international research networks and develop joint research initiatives in agricultural technologies and AI,
· To prepare collaborative project applications under programs such as Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, COST Actions, and TÜBİTAK,
· To conduct high-impact joint publications, scientific workshops, and thematic panels,
· To design interdisciplinary projects on AI-based agricultural production systems, precision and digital farming, technology adoption and diffusion economics, climate-friendly production models, and advanced econometric efficiency analyses,
· To enhance the international visibility and research capacity of our university in digital and intelligent agriculture.
The contributions of academic staff working in agriculture, engineering, computer science, data science, economics, environmental sciences, and related disciplines are highly valued—particularly those engaged in artificial intelligence applications in agriculture, smart decision-support systems, agricultural data analytics, sustainability modelling, and innovation diffusion.
In this context, we cordially invite you to become a member of the Academic Cluster Platform.
The Academic Cluster Platform is a digital collaboration environment developed by the Research Dean’s Office (ARDEK) to support interdisciplinary research, facilitate the formation of thematic research groups, and promote joint publications and international project development.
Through the platform, researchers can establish cross-disciplinary collaborations, form research teams, apply to existing groups, coordinate tasks, and manage research activities in a structured and transparent manner.
Once registered, choose the “Agricultural Technologies and Artificial Intelligence” group under Digital Health, Artificial Intelligence, and Smart Systems category to join the research group.
You may access the platform using your institutional email address at:
