Reminder: International agricultural engineering conference returns to Dresden in November

With just three weeks to go, EurAgEng is reminding members and colleagues across the agricultural engineering community to register for LAND.TECHNIK AgEng 2026, taking place in Dresden, Germany, on 10–11 November.

The 83rd International Conference on Agricultural Engineering will bring together researchers, engineers, machinery manufacturers and technology specialists for two days of technical presentations, professional discussion and international networking.

Organised by VDI Wissensforum in collaboration with the Max Eyth Society for Agricultural Engineering (VDI-MEG), the conference is held in partnership with the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng).

This year’s programme features more than 60 technical presentations covering key developments in agricultural machinery and engineering. Topics include tractors and self-propelled machinery, autonomous agricultural robots, sensors and simulation, harvesting technology, tillage, fertilisation and crop protection, artificial intelligence for precision agriculture, electric drives, renewable energy, predictive maintenance, machinery safety and industrial product development.

The conference provides an opportunity to hear about current research, explore emerging technologies and exchange knowledge with colleagues from across academia and industry. It also offers a forum for discussing how engineering can respond to the growing demands for productivity, automation and environmental performance in agriculture.

EurAgEng members are eligible for a reduced conference fee. Additional reduced rates are available for eligible university members and doctoral candidates, subject to the organiser’s membership conditions.

The conference will be held at the Maritim Hotel and International Congress Center in Dresden.

Dates: 10–11 November 2026
Venue: Maritim Hotel and International Congress Center, Dresden, Germany

Members and other interested participants are encouraged to review the programme and book their place through the conference website.
