Agricultural engineering seminar returns to Agromek in November

The 6th NJF–EurAgEng–Agromek Joint Seminar, Advances and Innovations in Agricultural Engineering, will take place in Herning, Denmark, on 24–25 November 2026, bringing together agricultural engineers, researchers, industry representatives, advisers and other professionals involved in the development of sustainable farming technologies.

Organised alongside the Agromek exhibition, the seminar will address a broad range of current agricultural engineering topics, including robotics, sensors, smart farming, artificial intelligence, imaging, drones, big data, data science, navigation, soil compaction, plant protection, post-harvest technology and circular economy.

The event is designed not only around formal research presentations but also around knowledge exchange and networking. Organisers are encouraging contributions from projects at an early stage, as well as ideas for collaborative research, education and advisory services. Delegates can present either orally or by poster, with accepted presentations subsequently compiled into PDF proceedings.

The programme includes presentations and keynote sessions on 24 November, followed by an Agromek dinner. The second day combines further technical presentations with a group visit to selected Agromek exhibitors covering areas such as sensors, robots, mapping and innovation, followed by time to explore the exhibition independently.

A particular benefit for EurAgEng members is a discounted seminar registration fee. Members are advised to contact their national EurAgEng contact to obtain the membership discount. Students are also eligible for a discount, regardless of membership.

Registration closes on 30 October, with completed abstracts or posters due by 8 November 2026.
