International Engineering Student Competition Launched
The International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, CIGR (www.cigr.org/) has just launched the first CIGR Engineering Student International Competition ๐. This competition offers undergraduate students in agricultural, biological, and biosystems engineering a chance to showcase their innovative ideas and compete on an international stage. ๐
About the Competition:
๐ The competition is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in relevant science or engineering programs. Participants can submit information on a project they have completed during their studies through a one-page description ๐and a three-minute video presentation ๐ฅ. Additional documents, including proof of enrollment ๐ and a letter of recommendation โ๏ธ, are also required. The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2025, at 11:00 PM ET (New York time).โณ

๐น Land and Water Management ๐ง
๐น Structures and Environment ๐ก๐ฟ
๐น Plant Production ๐ฑ
๐น Energy in Agriculture โก
๐น System Management โ๏ธ
๐น Bioprocesses ๐งช
๐น Information Technology ๐ป
Winners in each category will receive certificates and cash prizes:
๐ฅ Gold: $500 | ๐ฅ Silver: $300 | ๐ฅ Bronze: $200
โจ The Platinum winner will receive full funding to attend the 2026 CIGR World Congress in Turin, Italy ๐ฎ๐น, covering travel โ๏ธ, accommodation ๐จ, and registration ๐๏ธ.
