International Engineering Student Competition Launched

The International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, CIGR (www.cigr.org/) has just launched the first CIGR Engineering Student International Competition ๐ŸŽ“. This competition offers undergraduate students in agricultural, biological, and biosystems engineering a chance to showcase their innovative ideas and compete on an international stage. ๐ŸŒ

About the Competition:
๐Ÿ“Œ The competition is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in relevant science or engineering programs. Participants can submit information on a project they have completed during their studies through a one-page description ๐Ÿ“and a three-minute video presentation ๐ŸŽฅ. Additional documents, including proof of enrollment ๐Ÿ“„ and a letter of recommendation โœ‰๏ธ, are also required. The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2025, at 11:00 PM ET (New York time).โณ

Categories and Prizes:
๐Ÿ† The competition includes seven technical areas:
๐Ÿ”น Land and Water Management ๐Ÿ’ง
๐Ÿ”น Structures and Environment ๐Ÿก๐ŸŒฟ
๐Ÿ”น Plant Production ๐ŸŒฑ
๐Ÿ”น Energy in Agriculture โšก
๐Ÿ”น System Management โš™๏ธ
๐Ÿ”น Bioprocesses ๐Ÿงช
๐Ÿ”น Information Technology ๐Ÿ’ป

Winners in each category will receive certificates and cash prizes:
๐Ÿฅ‡ Gold: $500 | ๐Ÿฅˆ Silver: $300 | ๐Ÿฅ‰ Bronze: $200

โœจ The Platinum winner will receive full funding to attend the 2026 CIGR World Congress in Turin, Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น, covering travel โœˆ๏ธ, accommodation ๐Ÿจ, and registration ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ.
