Award of Merit - Innovation into Practice

The award will, in general, be made to a leading light in the industry.  The winner will have made an outstanding contribution to commercial practice and to engineering innovation that has been widely recognised through new products or by governmental and other organisations, for the benefit of agriculture, environment, industry and/or the rural sector in Europe.

It is expected that the winner will, in general,

• be a leading light in the industry,
• have a clear understanding of the practical and commercial challenges facing farming, the rural environment and/or associated industry
• have made a major contribution to engineering innovation that has been recognised commercially and at international level.

The award is to be given biennially, in the “odd” years at LandTechnik-AgEng conferences. This will be at Land.Technik-AgEng2025 in Hannover in 2025.
