Team deadline approaching for Field Robot Event 2026

Student teams interested in competing at the Field Robot Event 2026 are being urged to act quickly, with the registration deadline fast approaching on 30 April 2026.

The international competition, which brings together university teams to design and test autonomous agricultural robots, will take place from 16–18 June 2026 at the International DLG Crop Production Centre in Bernburg, Germany.

Organisers emphasise that the event is a unique opportunity for students to apply engineering skills in real field conditions, tackling challenges such as autonomous navigation, sensing and precision agriculture tasks. The competition also provides a platform for collaboration, innovation and networking with industry and research leaders in agri-robotics.

With only days remaining before registration closes, teams are encouraged to finalise their applications and secure their place in what has become one of the leading global student competitions in agricultural robotics. Late entries will not be accepted once the deadline passes.

Held as part of the wider DLG Feldtage exhibition, the Field Robot Event offers participants direct exposure to cutting-edge developments in digital agriculture, automation and AI, alongside opportunities to benchmark their designs against international peers.

As the deadline nears, the message is clear: teams planning to compete in 2026 should register now or risk missing out on a key event shaping the future of agricultural engineering. Click here to register.
