{"id":549,"date":"2025-11-04T11:22:36","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T11:22:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eurageng.eu\/?p=549"},"modified":"2025-11-25T20:12:14","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T20:12:14","slug":"biosystems-engineering-2026-announced-estonian-university-of-life-sciences-to-host-major-scientific-gathering-in-tartu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eurageng.eu\/?p=549","title":{"rendered":"Biosystems Engineering 2026 Announced \u2013 Estonian University of Life Sciences to Host Major Scientific Gathering in Tartu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"502\">The Estonian University of Life Sciences has confirmed it will host the 16th international <em data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"465\">Biosystems Engineering Conference<\/em> from 6\u20138 May 2026 in Tartu, Estonia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"790\">The event \u2013 which has grown in scale, participation and scientific significance annually \u2013 will again bring researchers, engineering specialists, industry and technology developers together from across Europe and beyond. The organisers expect representatives from at least 30 countries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"1156\">The 2026 programme will focus on new technologies and research within agriculture, agrorobotics, engineering, food systems, energy applications, fuels &amp; vehicles, bioeconomy, biorefining, waste recovery, and associated education. A central objective of the conference continues to be enabling effective technology transfer between scientific research and industry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1306\">Abstract submissions are open now. Deadline: <strong data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1222\">1 December 2025<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1226\" \/>Submission instructions are available at: <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/bse.emu.ee\/call-for-abstracts\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1268\" data-end=\"1306\">https:\/\/bse.emu.ee\/call-for-abstracts\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1467\">Authors of approved abstracts will be invited to submit full papers. Accepted papers will be published in special issues of <em data-start=\"1432\" data-end=\"1451\">Agronomy Research<\/em> and <em data-start=\"1456\" data-end=\"1466\">Energies<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1686\">For 2026, students will also be able to apply for supported attendance via Erasmus+ (Blended Intensive Program).
