This competition offers undergraduate students in agricultural, biological, and biosystems engineering a chance to showcase their innovative ideas and compete on an international stage. \ud83c\udf0d<\/p>\n<p>About the Competition:<br \/>\n\ud83d\udccc The competition is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in relevant science or engineering programs. Participants can submit information on a project they have completed during their studies through a one-page description \ud83d\udcddand a three-minute video presentation \ud83c\udfa5. Additional documents, including proof of enrollment \ud83d\udcc4 and a letter of recommendation \u2709\ufe0f, are also required. The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2025, at 11:00 PM ET (New York time).\u23f3<\/p>\n<p>Categories and Prizes:<br \/>\n\ud83c\udfc6 The competition includes seven technical areas:<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 Land and Water Management \ud83d\udca7<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 Structures and Environment \ud83c\udfe1\ud83c\udf3f<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 Plant Production \ud83c\udf31<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 Energy in Agriculture \u26a1<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 System Management \u2699\ufe0f<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 Bioprocesses \ud83e\uddea<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 Information Technology \ud83d\udcbb<\/p>\n<p>Winners in each category will receive certificates and cash prizes:<br \/>\n\ud83e\udd47 Gold: $500 | \ud83e\udd48 Silver: $300 | \ud83e\udd49 Bronze: $200<\/p>\n<p>\u2728 The Platinum winner will receive full funding to attend the 2026 CIGR World Congress in Turin, Italy \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9, covering travel \u2708\ufe0f, accommodation \ud83c\udfe8, and registration \ud83c\udf9f\ufe0f.<\/p>\n<p>Why Participate?<br \/>\nThis competition offers students recognition \ud83c\udfc5 for their work, visibility \ud83d\udc40 within the field, and a chance to connect with the global biosystems engineering community \ud83c\udf0f.<\/p>\n<p>More details, submission requirements, and deadlines can be found on the CIGR Engineering Student International Competition website: <a href=\"https:\/\/lnkd.in\/eCFv4D8M\">https:\/\/lnkd.in\/eCFv4D8M<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, CIGR (www.cigr.org\/) has just launched the first CIGR Engineering Student International Competition \ud83c\udf93.
